Getting Started

A quick rundown to get your show ready before the gates open.

  1. Enter your classesOpen Manage Classes in the toolbar and add the categories cars will compete in — Cars, Trucks, Bikes, or any specialty group you want to award.
  2. Set up your judgesClick Manage Users to create a judge account for each person who'll be scoring at the show. They'll sign in on their phone, scan the QR sticker on each car, and start judging.
  3. Judge the showOn show day, every judge scores cars one at a time using the same rubric. EntryLane tallies it live — winners and the printed awards sheet are ready the moment judging closes.

Settings

Configuration Saved to the database. Takes effect immediately.
Show name Used in emails, PDFs, and the results page.
Show location Full venue address. Used to compute Distance Traveled awards and to center the registration heatmap. Re-geocoded automatically when you save.
Registration cap Max paid registrations. 0 = no limit.
Cars on the judging sheet (Top N) How many cars make the printed Top N list at awards time. 1–500. Default 30.
Cars per voter How many classes each participant is asked to vote on. 1–10. Default 3.
Reset voter sessions Clears every voter session and recorded vote so collusion-rule changes (e.g. registration-window updates) take effect on the next ballot. Cannot be undone.
Blast reply-to Email address replies go to. Leave blank to use the sender address.
Reports & Metrics Generate awards/roster PDFs and review show metrics.
Voting / judging closes at Show-local cut-off time. On Participant Voting tier this stops anyone from casting (or finishing) a ballot once it passes; on the Judges / Top Picks / Ultimate tiers it locks the rubric scoring app. Either way: time passes → voting is done.
People's Choice voting window Show-local times. The /peopleschoice page reflects these — before "opens" it shows "Voting opens on…", after "closes" it shows "Voting has closed."
Hardship Award submission window Show-local times. Outside this range the public hardship page rejects submissions with a friendly "not open yet" or "closed" message. Leave blank for "always open while the toggle is on."
Best of Show Toggle off any vehicle type not present at your show. Empty categories are always skipped automatically.
